We do not see things as they are. We see things as we are.

DEVIANT LIFE
I've been on dA since 2005 and a senior member since 2007. I've been a Community Volunteer twice, first looking after Photography > Horror & Macabre (November 2008 - June 2010) and Photography > Darkroom (June 2012 - May 2013). I've also adminned various groups over the years and am currently a Moderator at Through-a-Lens, a Contributor at projecteducate and a photography mentor at seniormentors.

OFFLINE LIFE
As well as photography, I manage online communications for an art performance charity, run a little techie business with my husband and am also studying for a BSc in Forensic Psychology. Hobbies include obsessing over entertainment media and literature of a dark nature, writing (under a pseudonym, because I like to compartmentalise) and playing with fire. I share my home with one large man, two small cats, an albino axolotl, four goldfish, a family of aquatic snails and more computers than two people realistically need.

Deviousness Award

Deviousness Award
`RockstarVanity's gallery is filled with striking, vibrant photography and endless inspiration. Throughout her time as a Community Volunteer, Tanya promoted positivity whilst providing constructive feedback and suggestions from the community. Tanya always goes above and beyond to provide helpful resources and tutorials, not just encouraging you to improve your creativity, but to improve your citizenship within our community too. If you are ever in need of motivation or a friendly nudge of encouragement, `RockstarVanity should be your first deviant to visit. Congratulations, Tanya!

I was tagged by pulbern to take part in this lovely project.
Here's q
uote from Mrs-Durden to explain what it's all about:

Welcome to a Community Volunteer project in which we will be
highlighting our favourite Daily Deviations featured within the
recent weeks! We would like to encourage the community to join
in on this project by simply going through the Daily Deviations page
and collecting some of their favourite pieces of art within a journal titled
"My Daily Deviation Highlights"! We hope this project will help spread
awareness and love for Daily Deviations and our fellow deviant artists!

Here are my selections

Selfie/Cityscape by Ulprus
Reflect your Colors by Oer-Wout
Dracula Story by mariano7724
Raging Rainbow by Nikki-vdp
Park panorama #2 by seba-j

I'm not going to tag anyone specific but if you'd like to do your
own Daily Deviation Highlights journal, feel free to post a link in
the comments and make sure you use
 the hashtag #DDHighlights

dropping by to see how a real photographer takes photos.
i am thinking of giving up and taking my camera and letting my pet turtle have it for his habitat.
maybe he can use it.

I think you should hang on to the camera and play with it some more, but definitely don't let your turtle near your paints ;)
