Recent health problems and a coctail of medication has left me having some really strange and violent dreams of teeth falling out, fingers dropping off, suffocation, eyeballs exploding and other such unpleasantness. On the upside, I've been feeling very creative lately and have enjoyed the rather cathartic experience of exorcising the demons of my nightmares with photography.
Obviously all injuries here are fake
The four photographs in this set are meant to be seen as a collection, together, all at once.
This set is fantastic, but I think this one is especially DISGUSTING. Like the kind that crosses the line from being just fun and gory to being truly gross and unsettling. Great work, it's so freakin disturbing.
The teeth were so fun to do. The one that's blacked out was wrapped in toilet paper which was then soaked in black food dye using a cotton bud. Some of the black ended up on other teeth too, along with the red stuff. It all tasted absolutely horrible. It actually made me wretch
yeah- black food colouring tastes fucking weird. it's like someone made it with ash or something. i used to eat those little tubes of writing icing if they ever got close to their use-by dates and hadn't been used up. the black ones were rancid- which made me wonder why the hell they had a black tube in the pack ¬_¬
