Recent health problems and a coctail of medication has left me having some really strange and violent dreams of teeth falling out, fingers dropping off, suffocation, eyeballs exploding and other such unpleasantness. On the upside, I've been feeling very creative lately and have enjoyed the rather cathartic experience of exorcising the demons of my nightmares with photography.
Obviously all blood here is fake
The four photographs in this set are meant to be seen as a collection, together, all at once.
As amazing and inspiring as it is creepy and scary. I love the whole layout and execution of this shot. The low contrast and limit in color add to the feel of the piece.
This one has got to be my favourite. As a standalone thing it's horrifying and mysterious. I love how they all work together so well, though. Like snapping to different parts of the body really fast and erratically like what happens in horror movies.
a rather gruesome feel to it. it reminds me of a teacloth that Geoff used to mop up blood when he cut his finger open. so much blood and bandage here- and the plug hole gives more of a dark feel to it.
