This is My Personal Nightmare
For more information about the My Personal Nightmare horror photography art challenge, please visit this news article.

Recent health problems and a coctail of medication has left me having some really strange and violent dreams of teeth falling out, fingers dropping off, suffocation, eyeballs exploding and other such unpleasantness. On the upside, I've been feeling very creative lately and have enjoyed the rather cathartic experience of exorcising the demons of my nightmares with photography.

Obviously all injuries here are fake :aww:

The four photographs in this set are meant to be seen as a collection, together, all at once.

What I particularly appreciate about this one is how I can still see the outline of the model's face under the bandages.

My personal takeaway from this series is that we can try to keep our demons bottled up inside, but they will always bleed through and poison our lives. Better that we are honest with ourselves and others.

I feel kind of shallow now cause I didn't really put a huge amount of thought into the concept. I love your perception of the series and thank you for the wonderful comment

It reminds me of Peyton from the Darkman movie (it was a childhood favorite. ^_^" )

Wow! I love that you've taken your feelings and experiences and turned them into something tangible. I love your use of lighting here and the square crop is just brilliant.
