It's me in the picture, if that's at all relevant (which I guess it isn't really).

If you're wondering why I explain my methods, the reasons are three-fold. First of all, I can't be bothered to answer the same questions a hundred times in comments. Secondly, to demonstrate that dramatic results can actually be achieved through photography with some minor and simple adjustments, and don't necessarily require extreme editing or venturing into the realms of photomanipulation (unless that's what you want to do, in which case it's all good). And thirdly, I often see amazing photographs on dA and wonder how they were created, not so I can rush out and copy them, but just to give me a greater understanding of techniques I may not have used much before and would like to experiment with.
Thank you. My husband has these amazing eye drops that make your eyes look totally fresh and white, I tried them today and freaked out at my reflection...so I had to take a photo.
One is just a normal eyebrow, plucked to within an inch of it's life and dyed black (I'm naturally blonde, and dye my eyelashes and eyebrow black). The other one, the row of stars, is a tattoo and I shave that eyebrow off.
There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
