Welcome to the seventh dA Life blog, a series created to help you enjoy your time on dA and use it's many tools for sharing your art, appreciating other people's art and taking part in the wonderful community that we have here.
On dA there are lots of ways to make suggestions, share ideas, report bugs, ask for help and otherwise make contact through areas of the site like the Help Desk but there are also fun, every-day (and also pretty special!) things that you can get involved with directly, if you know who to contact. Here are three suggestions...
$Moonbeam13, Director of Community Relations
Danie posts Pimps and Whoas articles every month featuring news, interviews, groups, devmeets, commission information, deviations and other interesting stuff from the community and you are invited to submit content for these articles. You can find a list of Pimps and Whoas articles on her page and there are instructions for submitting at the bottom of each article. Danie also has a forumforum in her journal where you can post questions and suggestions directly to her.$fourteenthstar, Director of Community Operations
Fiona has the honour of selecting deviants for Seniority (the people with the ` symbol next to their name) and you can send her suggestions by note for people who you think should be Senior Members. Please read this FAQ first though FAQ #29: How do I become a Senior Member? for more information (please look beyond the title of the FAQ - it does contain general information about Senior Members).Community Volunteers
Among other things, the Community Volunteers who look after the galleries feature Daily Deviations, which you've probably seen in the dA Footer, and they actively encourage you to suggest art for these features. To find out more about what Daily Deviations are and how to suggest them, check out this FAQ FAQ #61: What is a Daily Deviation? and this one too FAQ #18: Who selects Daily Deviations and how are they chosen?. Please be aware that different Gallery CVs gave slightly different guidelines for suggesting DDs and modes of responding to suggestions. All CVs work on various community projects throughout the year and the Chat & Forums CVs moderate - you guessed it - the chat and forums sections of dA so they're the people to contact if you have questions, issues or ideas in those areas they're the people to contact. You can find a list of all the Community Volunteers, here at #communityrelations.Of course there are a lot more staff and volunteers who you can contact about various projects and issues. The ones listed here are just a starting point for new deviants.
