It could in theory but I haven't had any too bad experiences yet. One where they acted seemingly very illogically which annoyed me but I liked the community feel of the group too much to leave.

I would say yes to support my previous answer for your previous poll, but I solely believe it depends on if the members are doing their absolute best when it comes to contributing to the group. I can't just blame all on one party and not observe the other side of the story.

Iffy question for me, but if the admin is rude instead of helpful about it I would probably leave in a heartbeat.

I doubt it would make me leave, but it would make me thing twice about submitting things to the group in the future. i am always in a group for more than gallery submissions, and i wouldn't leave since that would only harm me in the long run by losing the communication passed through the group.

I have had my submissions declined by a group before. I figure they have their reasons. If I am curious, I may ask, but I never hassle anyone over it. How they manage their group and the submissions is up to them. I would not leave the group over it.

I sort of think of it like a call for entries in a juried show. You may not get into the show. Hell, more than likely, in real life, you will not get into the show. But, do you call up the juror and hassle them about it? Uh...no. Do you try again...hell yes.

yes. just happened recently, as a matter of fact.
it went like this: group consistently declines my submissions > i ask why > i get no response > this happens several times despite my having been a member since it was a goddamn club and they thought i was ok back then, and i re-read the rules to make sure, not to mention the deviations they accept SUCK compared to mine >>> :iconninjavanishplz:

yep, as a matter of fact the way a sumission was declined and my decision to leave the group responds to two of your questions today.

case: i joined #fetishphotography a while back, and submitted what i thought to be my best work from a recent shoot. it was declined, which i ordinarily take as feedback and move on from.

an unsolicited reason was given, "we want to show the 'fun' side of fetish, and your model's expression does not look fun"

i would have preferred no comment or something more generic, or even something along the lines of your image does not meet our standards of quality. this would have encouraged me to improve. i thought the given reason was ridiculous and removed myself from the group. 574 of my almost 800 images are fetish related. i feel like i might have something to offer here. to characterize fetish as needing to appear as fun in the first place was obtuse enough for me to leave the group.

this model's expression does not appear to be on the 'fun' side to me, but hey, it's fucking mastertouch

thanks for letting me vent

YES, because I have seen where an admin rejected a submission without offering any kind of reason, and that member immediately left the group.

Yes, it absolutely has. I had work declined with zero explanation and when asked I got told "that it is not our job to tell you why your work was declined"...
