hair that looks like hair...because the colours will be un-natural anyway
no need to make people blind

I think the dreads would look really funky and different, but I don't know, with your hair it might suit you better with normal hair.
Or none, because your hair is so lovely anyway :D And then, they might become tangled into your hair :hmm: My brother's ex girlfriend had extensions and hers went all wiry after a while.

I'm confoooozed. i dont know!!!
I either think; it's your first time with extensions and you should go for something less extreme [normal hair ones]
or i agree with your theory about it looking fake whatever you do, and you should go for something wacky and individual.
I voted dreads anyway.

hey rockstar, now here's a subject that i can definately help u with, i'm a hairdresser and have been doing extensions for years so here goes....if you go straight ahead and get the dreads then ur kinda stuck with it,there's no changing them into anything else later...however if u get the more natural looking extensions then these can be dressed at a later date into dreads, gettin u a lil more for your money...the problem with extensions is that they dont last all that long, most salons would guarentee them for roughly 3 months tops, now given that they're reasonably difficult (or at least time consuming) to look after the chances are that after 2/3 months they're gonna start looking a bit crap and will need replacing, unless u have and endless supply of cash and time in which to visit a salon regularly to have them kept in good whats a good plan is to perhaps go for the natural(or as natural as they can be being black, purple, whatever)to start with and then have them dreaded when they start looking a bit worn is however more difficult to dread modern extensions as the hair used these days is generally real hair and not the old style acryllic one,(which used a different approach to fixing them in)...these days they're glued in with a (once cooled)glue that creates a flexible bond at the roots.........oh and here's a tip, if the salon tells u that u need to come back in to have them removed using their expensive removing fluid(which makes the glue go hard, snap and able to remove) DON'T BELIEVE THAT FOR ONE SEC! all the fluid is is basically nail polish remover which when applied to the glue does exactly the same job and u can remove them urself, saving u a fortune....sure its a time consuming job and you'll need an extra pair of hands with it, but hey,ur married and thats the kinda shit husbands are good for!!!!!!! good luck tylerx
