I would hate to be disappointed.
It does make the experience like 300x better when they're really sweet, though. I get so happy.
I had a few bad experiences when I was younger and into black/death metal and met bands I admired and they turned out to be absolute total wankers. On the up side I met Christofer from Therion and he was so nice it almost made up for all the others being shits. But not quite.
totally random, and actually a funny story that involves me needing to pee desperately xD
but anyway, they happened to be SUCH nice people! seriously! they kept letting us take pictures even though the security people said not to, and they took time to talk to us -in a very funny english xD-, and they acted just like normal people, a bit shy, even.
just because of that experience i now admire them even more ^_^
but i'm sure if i met someone like Mailyn Manson it would be totally different tho >_>
Ignorance it truly bliss for me in this topic.
I would rather continue loving a song or movie or artwork and not know the person who created it is a complete arsehole, things like that do taint my experiences with things...
