embrace and accept it instead of putting up a fight

Greetings true believer! =p from one seasoned insomniac to another, there are a number of methods to combat insomnia. all of them are crap, sorry to say.

what you can do though, is give into the absence of sleep, and try to make yourself as comfortable as possible. i usually set my alarm, take a shot or five of nyquil, pop in a movie, make myself some hot chocolate, then curl up on the bed with my cat and a cigarette. don't forget to set the volume on "barely audible". by the time i get to the last few minutes of the movie, i'm ready for bed. if not, another mug of hot cocoa, and another movie. =)

hope i helped. =p

Honestly, you should get murderball, and watch it.
I think you would enjoy it.

And it is very...uplifting and teaches you a far bit.

This may either help you or make you laugh but it helps me.

I pray (to God) and before I'm finished doing it I'm already asleep :iconsleepyplz: *I am a christian*
If that doesn't work then I try to leave my mind blank, it's hard but after I do it I find it easier to sleep. - Somehow, everytime I leave my mind blank a train crosses it :? I don't know why xD -

Good luck!

Go for a run. Or if you can't get out, sit-ups and such.

Write something? Plan out ideas for books or films.

Cuddle your cat. I love cats :) Such warm, furry friends. They're always on your side, too :aww:

My ex-boyfriend had insomnia. To helphim sleep we would just talk a lot, for a longgggggg time (:

Hope you sleep well soon

Self-Hypnosis... by far the best way to resolve most issues and retake control of your mind, body and soul.

I usually find that about 20cl of Scotch sorts out an early wake-up, but for prevention, a mix of alcohol and weed plus 50mg diphenhydramine hydcrochloride (Nytol or generics) does the trick.

Dr.EvilCan prescribes: Blunt force trauma. It may kill you or knock you out. Regardless you won't be awake.

I'm not the most subtle of physician. You're lucky, my usual medicine is electrocution.
