You can find a list of all the Gallery Moderators here, so you can find the right person to send your suggestion to. My own DD suggestion guidelines can be found here, and if there's anything else I can help with, just shout
other reason; I do suggest DD's every now and then, the problem is that I'm pretty critical and I really need to be in total astonishment because of the deviation I want to suggest. It hasn't happened for me yet with any horror dev, I can remember. Or it did, but a few days later it gets featured, suggested by another person xD haha But I do suggest DD's in general.
I used to be a real DD suggestion freak. But not so much anymore. Not when some things started to get DD'd that I suggested and it didnt say I suggested it. Which isnt so bad glad it got the DD But not when it is added not suggested by me, but the little comment thing on it is what I wrote in my suggestion word for word. Or Id suggest something and nothing, then a month or so later its added but suggested by someone else.. ( who I know, and they suggested it a week or so after me ) Again not so bad. But not cool when, when I suggested it the GM, told me thanks, but not their kind of art so no thank you. Yet a month later they DD it.. Thats I dunno kinda rude if you ask me.
I do still suggest DD's though But nowhere near as much as I used to. You know once bitten twice shy.. Also kinda get sick of suggesting things to a GM and they either dont feature anything I ever suggest. or 6 months later the notes still havent been read. No use suggesting to someone who never features anything I suggest, or never even opens the notes right?. Not talking about you though btw hehe. Horror isnt really a cat I look into very much. So not to sure if I have ever suggested anything to you, I may have though, but it would only be once or twice hehe.
If you do feel inspired to have a wander through the horror gallery, I always love to get suggestion notes from people who don't consider themselves to be particularly into horror. They often have fresher eyes on the subject and find hidden gems
yeah I know what you mean. Im not a person that just suggests thing Tom Dick or Harry anyway. So if it is something that catches my eye and really make me stand back and woooooooo then I will suggest no matter what category its in I have looked into suggested a few to you before. But its said the person has already had a few DD's. ( not in the past 3 months though ) And I do suggest art that artist may have had a few DD's before. But I tend to like to suggest more the artist who have either had no DD's or only one two "maybe" over the past few years. But if they have had a few DD's in the past few years, and the art just blows my mind I wont not suggest it just because they have a few DD's. So yeah, if I come across something that blows my mind I will suggest to you
You've had a negative experience suggesting DDs in the past which has put you off suggesting.
I'm sure this probably doesn't apply to you, and probably should suggest Horror DD's, however every DD I have sugested has been met with a deathly silence (about the norm for much admin contact) I'm not looking for an in-depth explanation as to why a suggestion is accepted/rejected, but an acknowledgement of receipt would be nice "Thanks for your suggestion" wouldn't kill them. Even a kiss my ass you know all bastard would be better than nothing lol. Still suggest the odd one here and there, silence is golden
Aww, it sucks when someone gets in there before you with a suggestion. It happens all the time in horror photography. Something cool appears and suddenly there are a gazillion suggestion notes all for the same picture. Its nice to see people are actually enjoying the new submissions though
I especially love getting suggestion notes for work that's been on dA for a while and hasn't had much attention yet, those hidden gems that you run into occasionally while browsing.
Actually, the gallery is cool I don't honestly get the time to go around and browse through dA like I should and look for stuff to suggest I mean, if something from someone comes up in my devwatch, or I just happen to stumble upon it, I'll suggest it, but most of the time I'm not one to do it
